Jaguar TCS Racing crowned Teams' World Champions in London
· Nick secured two top three lap times in Free Practice during the Portland E-Prix double-header proving his quick pace in the Jaguar I-TYPE 6.
· Having worked his way through the field from P10 to lead the Portland E-Prix in Round 13, Nick unfortunately came off-track on the penultimate lap and finished outside the points.
· Contact resulting in a damaged nose cone forced Nick to pit in Round 14 before rejoining the pack in P17.
· In a race with one lap less than Round 13 and despite a late safety car, once racing resumed it was flat out to the finish which saw Cassidy climb 4 places from P17 to finish in P13.
· Nick leaves Portland with a twelve-point lead in the Drivers’ World Championship.
· Jaguar TCS Racing maintains a 33-point lead in the Teams’ World Championship.
· Focus now turns to the final rounds of the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in London on the 20th & 21st July.
· With pace shown in Portland and previous experience inLondon, Cassidy looks forward to the final rounds in London.
“I have a 12-point lead but have scored zero points in two races – so it could be much worse. I think we’re going to be strong in London. I’m looking forward to it – it’s one of my favourite tracks on the calendar – and it’s going to be a fight. Stand up and bring it on!”
