Strong points after podium and P4 finish in Shanghai

Nick leaves Shanghai claiming his eighth podium of the season followed by a P4 in Round 12, bagging a total of 27 points extending his lead of the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E Drivers’ World Championship.

The first time racing at the Shanghai International Circuit proved a strong & thrilling drive for Nick and the Jaguar TCS Racing team.

· In Round 11, Nick started tenth on the grid before making up an incredible 7 places to finish third on the podium, securing his fifth in succession and eighth overall podium finish of the season. 

· Nick executed a steady first 12 laps maintaining position outside the top 10 conserving energy until the closing laps with 1-2% usable energy remaining reaching third place with four laps to go to just missing the claim of second place on the last corner to finish third overall. 

· Day 2 of the double header saw Nick start in P6 with a strong race strategy taking both Attack Modes by the seventh lap of the race. 

· Throughout the race Cassidy made up 2 places positioning himself in fourth position by lap1 6 and remained there to close off the double header weekend at the 3.051km Shanghai International Circuit.

 

This weekend leaves Cassidy in a strong position turning his focus to Portland for Rounds 13 and 14 and the last two weekends of the season. He added; 'The team are doing an amazing job this year and I’m super lucky to be in this position. It’s been a solid day and a really good weekend. There are still four races left, 100-odd points still available, it will be tough but we’ll be giving it our all.'
